Tips when renting a dumpster
When to Order:
We offer service within 24 hours. We know there are times when you need a dumpster the same day and we can usually accommodate you.
Dumpster Size:
Before you call to rent a dumpster it is important to determine how much and what type of debris you will be putting in it. An appropriate estimate in the square footage of the dumpster will help to determine the size you will need. Size is important to know when ordering a dumpster as to not get one that is too big or too small for your needs. You can call Royal Disposal and let them know what you plan on putting in the dumpster so we can better help you decide the right size of dumpster that will best suit your needs.
Cost:
Most common sizes of dumpsters are 15 yard and 30 yard dumpsters. It is better and more cost effective to have a little extra room than not enough. Royal Disposal can give you a cost for each individual size and the length of time you can rent out the dumpster. Most people only need a dumpster for a few days. But some can use them up to weeks or even monthly. If you fill the dumpster you can call and have us remove the full one or pick it up and bring you a new dumpster to finish your project. Ordering the right size of dumpster for your project needs saves you time and money.
Placement and Location:
It is best to place the dumpster on a flat hard surface like a road or the driveway. Surfaces to avoid include: slopes, city streets (without a permit), soft ground and property that’s not your own. Ensure your dumpster’s placement is safe and secure.
Fill Levels:
You can only fill the dumpster to the maximum load level sign or the top rail of the dumpster. Over filling the dumpster will cause the debris to slide off when the dumpster is loaded onto the truck. It is also against UT DOT regulations to carry overloaded or overweight dumpsters. We are concerned about safety and will not carry loads that are unsafe.
